Within Luxottica, Research and Development is structured on the work of two separate groups:
1. The first team deals with short-term projects, with innovation plans from 6 to 18 months.
2. The second group deals with global, long-term technology projects. Programmes ranging from 2 to 5 years allow strategic relations to be constructed with major universities, research institutes and world famous entities.
