Today is a great day of celebration as we announce OneSight, the next evolution of our dedicated efforts to improve vision for those in need.

A Luxottica Group Foundation, OneSight is dedicated to improving vision through outreach, research and education. OneSight combines more than 20 years of innovation by three regional programs—Give the Gift of Sight, Pearle Vision Foundation and Community I Care—into one, new, global organization. Uniting our charitable efforts and vision expertise allows us to expand our worldwide reach and ultimately help more people.

OneSight connects our greatest global strengths—our people and passion—to help the world see. As OneSight, we give the gift of sight through four program areas:

• Global Eye Care—Our volunteers travel to developing countries around the world to hand-deliver much-needed, free eye care and recycled eyewear through organized Optical Clinics.
• Regional Eye Care—Our volunteers provide free eye care and eyewear to those in need in their regions through organized Clinics and Vision Vans.
• Community Eye Care—Our volunteers around the world help those in need in their local communities through in-store and outreach programs.
• Preventative Eye Care—OneSight funds much-needed research to address eye health issues throughout the world and invests in the next generation of optometric professionals through scholarships and education.

Today is just the beginning for OneSight. We believe the possibilities are endless. OneSight allows Luxottica employees from every part of the organization—manufacturing, distribution, wholesale and retail—to meet, connect and understand each other as we work together to help the world see.
