The H&H Italian Fashion Industry Sector Analysis is part of a larger research that ranked the English version of corporate websites of European's 500 largest companies using a 140-criteria evaluation protocol. Of those 500 companies, fourteen operate in the fashion and accessories industry and were included in the Fashion Industry Sector Analysis.
Adidas and Luxottica led the European ranking with an overall score of 63 points, followed by Sweden's H&M with 50.5. French fashion giants Hermes and Christian Dior finished last with less than 20 points.
"The web is increasingly becoming the fundamental channel to respond to tensions and to construct a corporate reputation consequently corporate websites need to promote more transparent disclosure," said Stefano Frigerio, the coordinator of the H&H Fashion Industry Sector Analysis coordinator.
